From my kitchen in Llanhilleth...
I'm Tony, and I have always loved welsh foods and produce. I've been working in the food insustry for over 20 years now, enjoying all wales has to offer with it's local produce.
I'm also a writer, artist and human rights activist who is always looking for ways to bring these passions of mine together!
My small home-kitchen in Llanhilleth (which is food safety registered) makes a lot of my produce, from jams, soaps and treats for my best friend, Draig the doggo.
While 'from my kitchen in Llanhilleth' is a new range of products, I have in the past one a Gold True-Taste of Wales Award for my work in welsh cuisine.
I have had the pleasure of appearing on BBC Radio Wales, S4C and ITV to talk about Welsh food and produce in the past, as well as for my work in Human Rights.
I'm really keen to get this right! That means we change when needed, research, read and listen to the conversations on how we can make our commercial and home kitchens more sustainable for the future.
Llanhilleth is a small former mining community village with a lot of fascinating history. It's built into the side of the welsh mountain valleys with terraces of houses zig-zagging across the hills. - We love it.
There is a great website with history and photos which can be found here:
My lurcher puppy, Draig. He's out of the kitchen when we are cooking and producing but he's right there when it comes to quality approving the 'Bisgedi Draig' (Draig's Biscuits) for dogs.
